It seems that finally we are able to see our Wedding Day approaching, the day is coming near and is attainable and excitement is once again growing in us! We are very excited and anticipate our wonderful wedding. Here is my ticker to count down to the Best Day EVER!
It has been such a long time since we have posted so I best give an update.
Christmas was wonderful, we had lots of fun with family and friends, we are so blessed to be surrounded by so many people who really love us! The holidays seem to have flown by and now we are back at school/work. But its nice to have routine again!
For New Years we were lowkey, we had a Christmas dinner with my parents as my Dad was not home for Christmas, then we had some friends over and played games till shortly after midnight where we welcomed in the New Year and soon were all off to bed.
This year holds a lot of excitement and busyness for us…. February 17th, one of my best friends is getting married. Then our wedding is May 12th! I CANT WAIT! June 30th will be the 3rd wedding planned so far that we will be attending. It seems so strange to be in this stage of life where our friends and us are all getting married.
We have had a not so great start to the year too, finding out that our car is unfixable, which is quite dissappointing. We thought we would have a good 5 years at least out of it. It has caused us to have to shift a lot of things and has forced us to discuss things in a more thorough sense which is good, but it is something I would have been okay wihtout. We are hoping to purchase a new car by February 5th as that is when our insurance runs out on the Contour.
I think that is all that has happened. Hopefully we are better at posting this year!
Sunday, Phil and I celebrated [if its a celebration] that we’ve been engaged for a year. Some would say thats super exciting, and others would say thats way to long. I think that is what has been given to us, and we should be thankful for what we have.
We have 5 months and 5 days until our wedding, not that I’m counting down…. actually I cant even lie about that. I’ve been counting down since I could count less than a year. Phil and I are ready to be married! Its such an exciting time for us.
Invitations will go out next month! Hurrah… I really should finish them, and then we wait for R.S.V.P’s. Then I get to do table seating, flowers, party favours…. oh the joys of it. I have such great friends, Jen who stay up until 4 
making invites with me that was WAY to much fun, my sister who has been there for every teary phonecall, Linds who is just perfect being you and being there for me, and we get to be engaged at the same time… how fun is that. But really I’ve had my mom who’s been here for it all 
I thought I’d show the transformation from last year to this….but the picture from last year wont upload but as soon as it does I’ll post it, until then… here’s us on Sunday night
Well one thing for sure, we love eachother more each and every day, and look forward to the journey ahead of us, our future and all the joys in life that we will share together
