So technically today is not over, and technically we are not even to our ‘final destination’ for the day. BUT this blog post is coming early because Phil and I are stuck in the Newark Airport. To many of you this will not come as a surprise, as I have NEVER flown without some sort of delay (from 15mins to overnight), so here we are, our flight delayed about 2 hours. We are hoping that it doesn’t change, but there is a lightning storm going on outside, so fingers crossed we make it out tonight.

Seattle was good. Had dinner, went swimming, and then hit the hay. Getting in to, and through, the airport was a breeze, but we overheard this really cool-sounding guy when we were sitting and eating breakfast. He had a super-deep but at the same time raspy voice; almost the same as Batman’s voice with his bat-suit on (from the new movies). Our 1st flight was smooth sailing – until it was time to land. Then we flew over Newark 80miles and returned coming from a different direction, and now here we are. We are glad to have worn somewhat warm clothing, as the airport is cold, to have books and the laptop to keep us occupied. Phil is trying to get pictures of the lightening, and I’m reading, fooling around online.
