Phil here, to update you all on the adventures of Day numero twooo. It started off pretty nice and chill – woke up and just hung out with the Andrewman until we had to roll. We got down to the inner harbour and hung out there for a bit – had a little bit to eat and wandered around.
Then we were off to the Port Angeles ferry, where things went a little sideways. We got there at around 1:15 (I thought we had lots of time to spare, but I was quite off) and found out that the 3 o’clock sailing was already full. So, we spun around and bombed off to the Vancouver ferry and just missed the 2pm sailing, but that was alright and we caught the 3. So, even though that had messed with our plans we made the border crossing with decent time (only took about 20 minutes to cross) and busted down to Seattle. Keltie drove from the ferry and she was hauling (crazy speed demon) after we crossed the border so we ended up getting to the hotel just a few minutes later than when we’d originally planned.
All in all a pretty decent day even with the monkey wrench thrown right in the middle of it, though :-]
Now tomorrow will be boring since we’re spending nearly all of it on a plane. Lame-o. (Maybe some cool pictures from in the air, though).
