I have been thinking that an update was in need for the last few days, but have yet to sit down and update… so here we are.

Thank-you all for the lovely birthday wishes! 23 so far has been kicked off right!! We had a lovely family celebration, Phil took me for dinner, we had youthgroup on my birthday which meant 18 birthday wishes, and many cards! Saturday night Phil had a birthday party for me, that was suppose to be at the beach – but sadly due to rain, was here at the house – but the party was a huge success regardless of location!

Phil has been busy with work, but is enjoying the projects he’s working on which is good. I am back to normal hours now (after 2 weeks of extra days) and it feels great to get caught up on home life…. laundry is done, kitchen is clean, food is bought, things are back to the norm again!

This coming weekend will be a fun one for us! Friday night is a babyshower for my good friend Amy and her little girl Adah Marie (who was born 2 weeks ago). Saturday Phil and I are heading to Van. for Third Day, and visiting friends. Sunday we are staying at the Fairmont WaterFront for our anniversary, and we are so excited. We will be coming home Monday but are going to take our time coming back, and haven’t decided what we will do there – we are going to play it by ear, and see what happens.

Ball has been good, we’ve had 2 games so far – lost both but are improving. It’s a very new team (only like 5 people have played together). Phil is busy with soccer and seems to have a pretty good team this year. He’s at a game tonight which I opted out of, as it is pouring and I just don’t feel like sitting in a wet field getting wet for 2 hours.
