Finally… February 7, 2009
Before we moved into this house, we had sorted through a lot of stuff, and had boxes that needed to go to the dump, clothes that needed to be donated, and stuff to be recycled. When we moved in however, we left 3 days later for our trip to Disney World, and then got home, and it just wasn’t on our mind. We were setting up inside, and not really concerned about the shed. For the last 2 months we’ve talked and talked about how it has to be done…. and today was the day. We went through everything!!! Phil and Andrew did a dump run, and a recycling run. The shed is clean, we don’t have a lot of extra stuff now, which is a great feeling.

I love getting rid of excess stuff. Doesn’t it feel great? I used to visit a website called “The Fly Lady” who encouraged people to walk through their homes every so often with a garbage bag and get rid of fifty items, either to chuck or donate. It’s amazing how much stuff you can get rid of and not even miss at all.
It does feel so good!!! It’s amazing how quickly we accumulated so much ’stuff’ too. Now, I am working on the last project I had hoped to get done before going back to work… painting our dresser!
