New adventure!

I am a lame blogger lately – and I apologize.

Things have been…. well…. blogging hasn’t been at the top of my list.

So, I’ve been working hard on our Christmas cards for this year – and am happy to report they are nearly done, and look great!! I’m very happy with them! And glad to have them close to finished – then the next step is to fill them out, which really is the timely step – but Phil and I made a deal this year – he does his family & I do mine, I also get to do our mutual friends, but at least he gets a bunch for himself too.

I am off to Edmonton this weekend – due to travel delays coming home from Toronto – WestJet gave us travel credits – and Phil encouraged me (THANK-YOU :o ) ) to use them and go visit my Baba, who I’ve been wanting to see for a while now, but just couldn’t make it happen! I am so happy to get to see her this weekend!!! Everything has fallen into place perfectly! I get to stay with my cousin, she will lend a car if needed, she has time off school on Mon/Tues, my aunt, uncle and youngest cousin are coming down from Fort Mac while I’m there so I get to see them too. Baba is very excited about my arrival! And, best of all it cost me $4.10 which is about as much as I could afford on a flight right now :o )

Phil and I went to Port Alberni on the weekend to visit a family that used to go to our church. It was great to get away (no computers etc.) and just relax… Art cooked up a huge Greek feast for us (yum), and we played games and had some serious visiting time.

Tonight is bible study – I’m excited, we are going through a great book! Phil is staying home, as he is feeling really crappy lately and needs the rest – I’ll be sad that he misses out, but he needs to take care of himself, since he’s still pretty busy with work.

Well…. untill next time! :o )
