motivate or inspire??
June 12th, 2008 | Posted by in Day-to-day things...Last night I was out watching Phil play soccer, with Lindsay — and her Dad showed up to join us. While we were talking, he posed the question; can you actually motivate someone, or do you inspire them? Does motivation come from within, or can an outside person do it??
That made me think!! I like to think my friends can motivate me, but I think now that more they inspire me to do things, but I am the one who has to do it. Hmm, something to ponder I guess…

Hey, interesting thought. If you look up ‘motivate at ‘Dictionary.com’ it give you a link to ’22 core patterns associated with motivation. An interesting article. The word ‘inspire’ has a whole long list of definitions but you might want to take a look for yourself.
